Bathroom — routed wall panels with hidden LED lighting
The bathroom had an irregular, sloped ceiling and a run of sharp angles above the sink — the kind of geometry that is hard to hide and easy to get wrong. Instead of smoothing it away, we mapped every surface and designed a wall cladding that picks up the same angles and carries them on into a deliberate pattern. The panels are CNC-routed and finished in a steel-look interior film; the strips between the panels are filmed to match the existing furniture in the house, so the wall sits with the room rather than against it. An LED strip is set into the corner of the panel assembly and lights every line. This entry revisits the job after about six years in use — the film, the joints and the lighting still look new.
