Basement apartment — full renovation
The flat was taken back to concrete: the old bathroom and worn surfaces came out, the floor was levelled with screed and new stud partitions raised with underfloor heating and services. The bathroom received terracotta tiles, a grey large-format shower with black fittings and an LED-lit niche, dark cabinets with brass knobs and recessed lighting above the tiles. At the stair we built a panelled wall and an enclosed under-stair space with a hidden door, plus a run of grey wardrobes. The hallway got new dark grey doors with black handles and a backlit mirror, and the exterior door was renovated from the inside with a repainted frame and a flat wood-textured panel over the old panelled door. All cabinetry was made in our workshop, and Preiss Workshop ran the project with licensed plumbers and electricians.
